It was early Thursday morning at about 5.30 am , I had woken upto take sunrise pictures over Jerusalem, the Jewish capital of the Jewish State.

Forgot about the blog

Wow, forgot that I had started this in 2006, since then in the world Bush left office, and world has a crazy look on US elections with the financial criss resulting in a meltdown not seen since 1929 and equivalent to 911,77 for many peoples 401k or IRA and led to the TARP bailing out the financial industry. Obama in one corner, Palin and McCain, in the other, McCain's meltdown through the crisis was telling. He would have been my choice , before Romney. The Tories did a real number on Labour once again spreading lies and false data about the economy,and got caught,so now in Bed with the Liberals, since booth are similar in someways I guess, shows same sex relationships work. Obama's election was a surprise since has so little experience, but is intelligent and has a grouping of advisors which are tried and tested some former Bush appointees.
As to me I am back home, with my family which is great, we had a daughter, she has flown the Atlantic 7 times now, and going to make another trip soon.
The economy stupid is the problem how to get people being hired, where I live unemployment is at 20%. Seems that the GOP wants to divert the issue since they have no effective solutions that Beck and others of Tea Party ilk,at the sight where MLK stood. have thrown there hats in to the Mosque, I mean community center two blocks from (11, the only issue I have is the lack of sensitivity , but that is it tackles, tasteless, uncaring, insensitive, but not illegal or unconstitutional.

First Impressions

So here I am two decades later, wow what changes have occured. I was aware of them. I read the BBC news on line and got the occasional newspaper. However the actual impact is far greater tha I could have imagined. It is for me like that I had been sentenced to Prison for 20 years and just come out ( in some ways I wish I had).
I do not need to list the changes but the observations are that so far I have noticed a cleaner Britain , less trash on the streets.
The roads and motorways were smoother less potholes.
People seemed more friendly and politer.
Travelling to central London, the air was cleaner and the traffic was far less no doubt due to the congestion charge, the high cost of parking and cost of petrol.
I hope that I will find work and a place to live shortly.
